This month, MPPS will discuss the legal issues related to medical practices, what medical professionals should be cautious of, and introduce the implication of the new Digital Health Certification in Hong Kong.

Mr. Nelson Chung was an in-house lawyer of Hospital Authority before returning to private practice and was one of the HA Panels for 7 years. Mr. Chung has extensive experience in medical-related cases, including acting for or advising doctors, Chinese medicine practitioners and allied health workers. In this webinar, Mr. Chung will share with us the recent challenges of Bolam Test by the Reasonable Patient notion and share with us some medico-legal cases experiences.

Mr Peter Woo is an expert in AI, Blockchain, Cryptography and Data Science. He is currently the Managing Director of eMALI.IO Limited. EMALI is a service provider in the regulatory technology field including Hong Kong Monetary Authority, HKSAR OGCIO, TDC, Banks and Insurance companies. EMALI is one of the five technological companies selected by TDC for their work in Digital Health Credential on immunity/vaccine application for the COVID-19 pandemic.
